Action is your chance to give back to the Loughborough community! By volunteering you'll be helping others and feel good doing it. Throughout your time in Elvyn you'll have many opportunities to take part in Action events and work towards Action Hours Awards Bronze, Silver and Gold…

 

There's a wide variety of possible activities that come from Action. Come along to one of our Weekly Elvyn Action projects such as Dog Walking.

 

This is a great way to socialise with other people from Elvyn.

 

Previous one-off events include helping out at a local Alpaca Farm, to supporting the local church's Christmas fete. Also, check out the wide array of independent projects you can get involved in directly through the Union. There is something for everyone from working with children to the elderly, disabled, volunteering abroad and much more which can all count towards gaining Action Hours.

Action at Elvyn is headed by our two fantastic Action Reps, Phoebe and Meru. They'll let you know about the latest Action Events taking place, and if you want to take part they'll simply take your name down.

They'll also be happy to answer any questions you may have about Action - get involved and have fun doing so!
